Maintenance detailing is not limited to ceramic coated cars. It is a recurring visit for people who want their vehicle kept right rather than rescued once a year.
If your vehicle is coated, this is the visit where we inspect it and boost it. If it is not coated, it leaves with a ceramic sealant on the paint. Either way it goes home clean, protected, and on a schedule instead of on a whim.
Everything happens at our shop in Foley. Your vehicle comes inside to be finished, which is not something that can be replicated in a driveway.
Finished indoors
Exterior is the baseline. Interior is added when you want it.
Wheels, wheel arches, and tires come first, then a foam bath and a detailed hand wash of the full exterior. The order matters. Cleaning wheels after the paint just puts brake dust back on a clean car.
Your vehicle comes into the shop to be dried and finished, not left in the sun in a parking lot. This is the part that separates a maintenance detail from a car wash.
We inspect the coating panel by panel and apply a ceramic booster so it goes back out performing the way it should. If a panel is starting to struggle, we would rather catch it at this visit than two years from now.
No coating is no problem. Uncoated paint gets a ceramic sealant instead, so your clear coat still leaves here with something on top of it.
A water based dressing that will not harm the tire, and glass cleaned inside and out. Cheap solvent based shines look good for a week and dry the rubber out.
When interior is part of the visit, the vehicle gets emptied. Mats out, belongings out. Then everything gets touched, from the door jambs to the vents to the seat rails.
Protection goes on the interior surfaces afterward, and it is deliberately not a shiny one. No added gloss, no slick steering wheel, no greasy dash. Just the original look with UV protection over it, which is what actually keeps an interior from cooking on the Gulf Coast.
This is also where a skipped year shows up first. Grimy seat belt clickers, a steering wheel nobody wants to touch, soiled leather, and a smell the owner stopped noticing months ago. All of it is avoidable on a schedule.
No added gloss
We offer discounted rates to customers who come in every 1, 3, or 6 months. The more consistent the vehicle, the less time it takes us, and that saving goes back to you.
Daily drivers, and anyone who has other people in their vehicle constantly. Realtors, in particular. If your back seat is part of your job, monthly is the honest answer.
The sweet spot, and what we recommend to most people. Long enough that it is not a chore, short enough that nothing has time to set in and become a real problem.
Weekend cars, garage kept vehicles, and anything that does not see daily use. For a coated vehicle this is also the visit that keeps your 7-year warranty active.
Six month visit
If your vehicle is coated, it is not much different from buying a new truck and then paying for an oil change every few thousand miles. You can stretch it, and you will probably be fine for a while. But engines need maintaining, and so do coatings.
If your vehicle is not coated, the thing you are maintaining is your clear coat, and clear coat is finite. There is only so much of it. Once you have ruined it, it is gone, and no product puts it back. A coating helps protect it. Maintenance is how you protect it either way.
This is not a service that saves you money this month. It is the one that decides what your paint and interior look like in year five, and what the vehicle is worth when you are done with it.
We would rather tell you up front than take your deposit and disappoint you.
Our ceramic coating customers, first and foremost. This is how a coating gets to actually last seven years instead of quietly quitting in three.
People who keep a vehicle sharp but will not own it long enough for a coating to pay for itself. If you are trading in two years, a coating may not be the right math, but neglect is not the right math either.
Leased vehicles, where you are handing it back and every mark is somebody else's opinion of what it costs.
Heavily soiled vehicles typically will not qualify. The maintenance rate exists because we expect to spend less time on a vehicle that has been kept up. When a vehicle needs rescuing rather than maintaining, that is a full detail, not a maintenance visit.
Muddy work trucks and vehicles that haul kids and gear all week are honest vehicles, and we are not looking down on them. They just are not what this particular service is built around.
If you are not sure which side you land on, ask. We will tell you.
Maintenance pricing is for existing customers, and the way in is simple. Your first visit is a full detail or a ceramic coating at full price. After that, you are eligible for maintenance rates as long as your next visit is inside six months.
The reason is not gatekeeping. It is that we have to get the vehicle to a known standard before a maintenance visit can be a maintenance visit. Once it is there, keeping it there is the easy part, and it should cost you less.
Let it slide past six months and the vehicle usually needs more than maintaining again, which puts you back at a full detail. That is the whole reason the schedule exists.
Start with a full detail
Tell us what you drive and how it gets used, and we will tell you which interval makes sense and what it runs. If your vehicle needs a full detail first, we will say that too.
