We'd love to say everyone needs a ceramic coating, but that simply isn't true. What we will say is that a professional ceramic coating is one of the best investments you can make in your vehicle's appearance and long-term value. It eliminates the need for constant waxing, makes maintenance dramatically easier, and keeps your paint protected for years — not weeks.
We personally will never own a vehicle that isn't coated. If it fits within your budget, it's absolutely worth it.
Waxes and sealants are great products, but they sit on top of the paint and typically last only 1–2 months — regardless of what the bottle claims. A professional ceramic coating chemically bonds with your paint at a molecular level, creating a semi-permanent layer of protection that lasts for years.
The coatings we use are professional-grade products that are not available at retail stores. They deliver a level of gloss, hydrophobic performance, and durability that wax simply cannot match.
Prevent scratches? No — and anyone who tells you otherwise isn't being honest. What a ceramic coating does is significantly reduce the likelihood of minor scratches and swirl marks by adding a hard, sacrificial layer on top of your paint. It raises the threshold of what it takes to damage your finish, but it doesn't make your vehicle bulletproof.
Think of it as serious protection, not invincibility.
All of our ceramic coating packages include a 7-year ceramic coating backed by a 7-year limited warranty. The warranty covers the performance of the coating when properly maintained.
For full warranty details and maintenance requirements, feel free to reach out to us — we're happy to walk you through everything.
Every vehicle can benefit from a ceramic coating, regardless of age. Since we perform a minimum of one stage of paint correction before any coating application, we ensure the paint is in the best possible condition and that there's a strong bond between the coating and the surface.
Whether your vehicle is fresh off the lot or has a few years on it, we'll make it look exceptional.
Not a problem at all. Paint protection film can be ceramic coated with no issues — in fact, coating over PPF adds an extra layer of hydrophobic performance and makes the film easier to maintain.
If you'd prefer to have the PPF removed prior to coating, we can accommodate that as well, though additional charges will apply for removal.
Within reason, absolutely. The reality is that your vehicle only has a finite amount of clear coat, and it would be counterproductive to chase a very deep scratch only to thin out the surrounding area.
That said, our one-step and multi-stage correction options achieve incredible results on all paint types — in most cases removing 50–90% of visible defects and dramatically improving the overall appearance.
Here's a quick test: run your fingernail across the scratch. If you can feel it catch — even slightly — it's likely too deep to remove completely without risking damage to your clear coat.
These deeper scratches can still be improved and made far less noticeable, but full removal isn't always possible or advisable.
Etching is what happens when something acidic or mineral-rich sits on your paint long enough to eat into the clear coat. The two most common causes we see are bug splatter and hard water spots.
Bug residue is highly acidic and will start etching paint surprisingly fast, sometimes within a day or two in our climate. Water spots come from minerals in tap water, sprinklers, or rain that dry on the surface and leave deposits that bond chemically with the clear coat.
Visually, etching is essentially tiny craters in the clear coat, similar to craters on the moon. Some are shallow and barely noticeable. Some are deep enough to catch the light from across the parking lot.
Yes, and we see it more often than people expect. A new vehicle could have sat on a dealer lot for weeks or even months before you picked it up, completely unprotected and exposed to sprinklers, rain, sun, and bugs.
By the time it reaches you with a couple hundred miles on the odometer, hard water spots can already be etched into the paint at varying degrees of severity. It is one of the biggest reasons we recommend coating a new vehicle as soon as possible.
Light etching can usually be removed during paint correction without taking much clear coat. Deeper etching is a different conversation.
To fully remove a deep etch, we have to level the surrounding clear coat down to the lowest point of the crater, which means a major loss of clear coat thickness across that whole area. Your vehicle only has so much clear coat to work with, and protecting what you have is our number one priority. That is the entire reason we are putting a coating on top of it.
Most of the time the right move is to remove what we can safely, then coat the surface to dramatically reduce the chance of future etching. To help prevent etching in the first place, do not let bugs sit on the paint longer than necessary, rinse the vehicle after long drives or love bug season, and get the car coated as early as possible.
A ceramic coating is typically a 2–3 day process, though the exact timeline depends on the size and condition of your vehicle. This includes thorough decontamination, paint correction, coating application, and curing time.
We don't rush the process — your vehicle stays with us until every step meets our standard.
Ideally, bring your vehicle in relatively clean so we can properly assess the paint condition while you're here. This is completely optional — we handle a full decontamination wash regardless — but a clean surface helps us give you the most accurate assessment upfront.
Other than that, just remove any personal items and you're good to go.
Yes, in a limited way. Our ceramic coating packages stay shop-only because they need a controlled environment, but we do offer two mobile services for daily drivers and weekend vehicles.
The Mobile Express Sealant ($250) is a strip wash, iron decontamination, glass and paint seal lasting around 6 months. The Mobile Express Coating ($500) adds a 1+ year ceramic spray coating to paint, plastic, wheels, and glass. Both are exterior only. No interior detailing, no paint correction.
See the Mobile Services page for the full breakdown and side-by-side comparison.
Maintaining a coated vehicle is much easier than maintaining an uncoated one — that's one of the biggest benefits. We recommend hand washing with a pH-neutral car shampoo, avoiding automatic car washes, and using coating-safe maintenance products.
Absolutely. We offer financing through Affirm and Afterpay, allowing you to break your purchase into smaller, more manageable payments. These options make it easy to get the protection your vehicle deserves without the full upfront cost.
